Here at Telford Race Nights our passion is to help charities and sports clubs in raising funds in the most fun way possible.
If you are a football team, cricket team, golf club or a social club then we have the answer. Our race nights are filled with fun and laughter, whilst raising money along the way.
If you follow our easy and simple format you'll be galloping towards the finish line.

We have the latest computerised Tote system and betting application.
All races are live racing and not virtual races with full commentary which are displayed on our NEW 65”LED screen.
We can provide all posters for advertising on social media and inside your venue.

How it all works:-
People can bet a minimum of £1 per horse per race ,or any combination of.
Customers pick their favourite number or name and come up to the tote booth where they are given a ticket just like at the bookies.
When all bets are taken the tote is closed and the payment is released to see if you win what would be the winnings.
Then the fun starts with the showing of the race on our big screen.
If you win then come to the tote booth with your winning betting slip, have it scanned and collect your winnings.
It’s as simple as that.
You can choose to raise money for a nominated charity or club football, Bowles or darts team. Takings can be split 50/50 or what ever you choose.
All you need to do is provide the people and let us do the rest.

How the sponsorship works:-
Before the event a sponsor form with pre-determined names(or you can create your own)will be provided. The club is then responsible for selling as many jockeys, owners and trainers as they can usually for £2 or £5.
Also local company's or individuals can name the entire race usually £25 or £50.

Useful Hints for Race Night Organisers
How to Raise Extra Funds
1. Approach potential sponsors for each race (suggest £20.00 per race). Their name or company name can then be printed on a personalised Race Card which we can supply.
2. Sell each horse with owner,trainer and jockey to an owner for a suggested £2.00 each. Every owner's name can then be printed against their chosen runner.
EXAMPLE - 8 race event
8 sponsors @ £20 each£160
64 horses with owners,trainers and jockeys sold @ £2 each
£384
Each winning owner,trainer and jockey receives prize
bottle of wine/box of chocolates outlay £15 per race
Total Profit Before Race Night
£424
3. Auction the runners of the last race. The highest bidder for each runner becomes the owner. 50% of the total auction money received is then paid to the winning owner or group of owners.
4. Combine the Race Night with a buffet/food and charge an entrance fee.
Legality
To ensure your event falls within the conditions of the Lotteries and Amusement Act 1976 for which no licence is required, we advice the following:
1. Proceeds go to your club or charitable causes not private
